The requirements for layout are as follows:
Mast top: a light placeing above the mast of a ship or above the center line of the head and tail,
and the continuous light is displaying in a 225 degree horizontal arc.
The device shall make the light display from the front of the ship to the front of each side within 22.5 degrees after the cross direction of each side.
Bulwark lamp: the red light on the port side and the green light on the starboard,Marine Navigation Signal Light

display the lights in the horizontal arc of 112.5 degrees respectively.
The device shall make the light display respectively from the front of the ship to the front of each side within 22.5 degrees after the positive cross of each side.
The bulwark cover shall be painting with matte black paint to the surface of the lamp.
The height of the shutter shall be at least equal to the height of the lamp. For barges with a length of more than 80 meters,
red and green bulwarks shall be set at the bow and tail respectively.
Tail light: a white light placing in the center of the stern of the ship.
The continuous light is displaying in 135 degree horizontal arc,
and its device shall make the light display from the front rear of the ship to 67.5 degrees on each side.
The height of the tail lamp shall be as level as possible with the bulwark lamp, but not higher than the bulwark lamp.
Bow lamp: a white light lamp placing in the bow of the barge being pushed on top,
which shows uninterrupting light in 180 degree horizontal arc.
Its device shall make the light display from the front of the ship to 90 degrees of each side, but not higher than the bulwark lamp.
Ring lamp: a number lamp with continuous light in 360 degree horizontal arc.
Red and green flash: it is a flashing ring lamp installing on the top of the bulwark lamp with the frequency of 50 to 70 flashes per minute.
For motor boats with a length less than 12 meters,
the red and green light water flashlight can be using instead of the red and green flash lights,
but the lights shall be bright and clear in color.
Yellow flash light: yellow flashing ring lamp installing on the mast of the fast ship, with frequency of 50 to 70 flashes per minute.
Combined red and green light: it is installed at the position of mast lamp,
which shows red light from the front of the ship to 22.5 degrees after the port side crossing,
and green light within 22.5 degrees after starboard crossing,
and the combined light with white light from the front of the ship to 67.5 degrees of each chord.
Masthead lamp: also known as “anchor lamp”. White light, mounted on top of mast. Horizontal irradiation angle 360 degrees, circular illumination.
